| | I'm trying to upgrade from 2002. I get the following message:
"Authentication of convert_stub.dll failed because it could not find the
required file. PLease reinstall Quicken to convert your data file." -
reinstall doesn't change anything!
Then I get this one: "Verify this is a valid quicken data file".
It was a valid Quicken file earlier today in 2002. And it is not a
"read-only" file as Quicken suggests. I tried using my back up file and got
the same "Not valid" message.
Any suggestions? THanks,

I have had a few occasions, of late, right after boot up, I try to
manually update EZ Antivirus and get the following error msg:
Fatal Error 3 During Download.
Please see log file:
C:\ProgramFiles\CA\eTrustEZArmor\EtrustEZAntivirus\autodown.log
for more info.
This log doesn't tell me cr*p. I have been able to determine that the
problem may be with the internet or the download site, although, everything
else is working just fine. Anyone else getting this??
Heirloom, old and still painting, ugh.

frustrating to download.
A new account was assigned last June so apparently it requires setting
up a new account in Quicken. But when I do that one time, the next
time Quicken does not recognize it. It asks me to choose from a list
that does not include my old or new TIAA CREF account. I cannot get
useful help from the web site help/FAQ pages nor from the staff. They
send generic, irrelevant responses.
My situation may be made more complicated by the fact I have my wife's
two TIAA CREF accounts also on Quicken. I don't know if this is a
problem, but I mention it in case it might be causing confusion.
Any others with experience (successful I hope) with TIAA CREF?

pieces from various commercial CDs. I just bought an MP3 player, and
want to convert these home-mades to MP3 files. I'll have to add the
names manually, so CDDB support isn't an issue. Nor is burning
capability.
Is there some program that will allow me to rip all the songs on a CD,
convert them to MP3s, and put them in a file where I can choose which
ones I want to transfer to the player?
I checked Google for threads in this group, but most of the programs
mentioned do a lot more than I actually need.
