| | My main computer is connected to DSL by a Cisco wireless card. I have a D-link router and two laptop computers. One laptop has a d-link wireless card and the other laptop has a netgear wireless card. All three computers run Windows XPSP2. All three computers can see each other and are able to move files between them. Only {censored} can get on the internet. I have reset the router. Reset the Cisco card. Changed out the 3Com card. I have Norton Utilities installed and have run the virus software. I have run ewido to remove anything else that might interfere. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

I have just had a pc built for me the specs are as follows:
extreme kv2 939 motherboard
amd 64 athlon processor
400w jeantech power supply
maxtor 160 gb c drive
maxtor 200 gb d drive
geforce mx 4000 graphics card - (only basic as i need sound rather than graphics)
M-Audio 24/96 Digital Soundcard
i was using as memory:
2 x 256 ddr ram
which worked well but as i use this pc for mixing songs i needed more memory so i got
2 x 512 Corsair Platinum Twinx XMS3200 1gb(2x512) memory
but when i took the old memory out and replaced it with the corsair and turned the pc back on it keeps opening the windows screen then reboots, the motherboard booklet states this memory can be used.
Its driving me nut can any of you experts help.

| | The DVD on my machine will not read any DVD's? After about 30 seconds, on the TV screen, "check disk" appears. On the function panel,it shows a disk icon, and says "error". This started within 2 months of purchase. The manual does not explain the message...any ideas? Is it just defective? |
